I must endorse how helpful the customer service/tech support team is! I was so panicked with getting assessments scored and completed and your team was so helpful and led me through each piece with confidence! The quick response to my questions and e-mails was deeply appreciated!
As a new user, the ALTS system was an efficient way for me to handle a multi- grade, multi-level classroom. The students found the testing on-line to be easy to access and with feedback available, they knew how they had performed within a day.
Creating the assessment questions was a snap with the layout options and the capability of adding text and visual stimuli really enhanced the assessment.
Scoring and processing the stats was also just a report away. The ability to review the students’ responses and score the constructed response questions allows teacher flexibility.
The reports offer multiple ways to analyze both the students and the data.
Initially, I was quite apprehensive about this system, but I have come to realize that it is very flexible and I am looking forward to adding additional assessments in the fall.

Dr. Dennison Bhola has put his years of classroom and university teaching and educational psychometric experience to work for the benefit of all teachers. He has a strong personal desire to help teachers function more efficiently and wisely in the testing arena. To this end and with his knowledge, he has developed the Assessment Learning and Teaching Solutions (ALTS) software.
The software allows teachers to enter test items, give the test online, immediately see the results, and best of all, to instantly see a statistical, item-by-item analysis. Our teachers are most eager to see the red, yellow, and green coding for their items, telling them which items “work” for the test, and which don’t. Dr. Bhola listened to the teachers of Nebraska and wrote the software to include criterion referenced testing. His coding system allows for mastery of items, a much-discussed philosophy in our school; we want all students to master all items.
The ALTS system is easy to use. My assistant or the teachers enter the items, press a few buttons, and the test is ready for students to take online. If the items do not lend themselves to online testing, we simply enter the results and receive the instant item analysis. There are several printed reports to help the teacher or to share with a parent.
Dr. Bhola’s forte is professional development. He has taught our staff extensively on item-writing and quality test criteria. His presentations are enlightening and entertaining. He wants his teachers to know quality work and to use it for students.
Dr. Bhola and his staff are the strength of the ALTS system! All of them are eager to help, patient with questions, and quick with responses. Dr. Bhola stresses to his clients that someone will answer their question with 24 hours, less is better!

Dennison Bhola and his staff have created a fantastic online item bank and testing tool that is very user friendly and efficient in assessing students and empowering teachers to become more involved in the assessment process.
The amount of staff development provided in training was unbelievable. We had a mini statistics class on reliability and validity, test development procedures, Six Quality Criteria correlation, and test item writing workshop. Our staff really benefited from the in depth instruction.
The reports, after each assessment and at end of the year, are very beneficial to the school system by providing immediate feedback for the school district.
The software is very easy to use and allows the teacher to develop an assessment that is unique and effective for the class.
The ALTS program with many options allows teachers to construct test items for placement in the item bank. This is a convenient feature when creating an assessment.
